Currently, large volumes of data are being collected on farms using multimodal sensor technologies. These sensors measure the activity, housing conditions, feed intake, and health farm animals. With traditional methods, from animals their environment can be intermittently. However, with advancement wearable non-invasive sensing tools, these measurements made in real-time for continuous quantitation relating to clinical biomarkers, resilience indicators, behavioral predictors. The digital phenotyping humans has drawn enormous attention recently due its medical significance, but much research is still needed Implications human studies show great promise application technology modern livestock farming, technologies must directly applied understand true capacities. Due species-specific traits, certain required assess phenotypes need tailored efficiently accurately. Such devices allow collection information that better inform farmers aspects animal welfare production improvement. By explicitly addressing animals’ individual physiological mental (affective states) needs, sensor-based potential serve as an effective intervention platform. Future warranted design development platforms create shared standards, metrics, repositories.
